The “Better World Mural” –

We are so excited to invite you to join us in an exciting collaborative art project to promote Compassion and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The goal of the project is to inspire us and others to envision and take action in creating a more just and sustainable world.  The Better World Mural is a partnership between Terra Studios, Compassion Fayetteville, local businesses and community members, and nineteen local artists. These artists are currently working on eighteen individual 4’x4’ panels for a very special 32’ x 12’ “Better World” mural to be permanently installed at Terra Studios. The unveiling will be April 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. and you won’t want to miss it!

Please watch this very short video (we the people) for the WHY of this venture and join us as a sponsor in this important community project.

About the Project:

The Charter for Compassion is based on the principle of compassion which lies at the heart of all religious, ethical and spiritual traditions, calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated ourselves. The Charter for Compassion is concerned with understanding and acting on compassion for self, others and the earth.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit, mobilize efforts to end extreme poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.

19 local artists will portray the 17 Sustainable Development Goals plus one of Compassion on individual 4’ x 4’ murals creating a 32’ x 12’ mural at Terra Studios giving thousands the opportunity to become more aware of and educated about these important issues.

Please join us by becoming a sponsor of this community project. Sponsorships are $250; donations are gratefully accepted in any amount. Call Val Gonzalez or Brenda Carter at 479-643-3185 or send your check to Terra Studios, 12103 Hazel Valley Road, Fayetteville, AR 72701. Please designate “Mural Project” with your gift.
